Kathinka Dysthe, born in 1963, comes from a family of designers. She was educated at SHKS and the Institute for Industrial Design in Oslo, Norway, where she received her diploma in 1994. When Kathinka works with the design of glass, she begins with something she wants to express, then gives the glass its shape. Kathinka has been awarded Merket for God Design three times, and has many products on her reference list. She shows diversity and clarity of expression in all her work.
