Born in 1957, Mikael started his career within glass making as a 15 year old and become a renowned professional in the industry at the age of 35. Mikael is best described as spontaneous and outgoing and this is consequently reflected in his works. His artistic flair of thinking big and creating sharp contrasting forms with a modern twist are his signature touch. His spontaneous nature is directly portrayed in his creations and if he is not pleased with a certain aspect of his work he is just as quick in dismissing it.
