Ulrica Hydman-Vallien is one of Sweden’s best-known and most popular artists. Her unmistakable figures can be seen on Ericsson mobiles and British Airway’s airplanes, among other places. Her most important form of expression is through her glass designs, which played a large part in Kosta Boda’s success in the 1980s and 1990s. She paints her striking and humorous designs on the glass with unrestrained energy.
