The Bergdala Studioglas trademark is a fusion of Bergdala Design and Studioglas Strömbergshyttan. This shrewd mix of tradition and innovation take the art of glassblowing to new levels. Founded in 1889, one of Bergdala Glasswork's most famous products is without a doubt the "Blå Kant"/"Blue Line" series. No one can be quite sure as to how long it has been in production, but one thing is certain, it has become synonymous with Bergdala tradition and has probably been around as long as the glasswork itself. One of the youngest glassworks, Studioglas Strömbergshyttan, was founded almost one hundred years later in 1987 by the three glasswork pioneers Håkan Gunnarsson, Leif Persson and Mikael Axenbrant. Through the years, these three craftsmen have used their talented creativity and mere hands to develop advanced glassblowing techniques that have set new standards for not only Swedish, but several international artists.
