Renewal and Joy... Ari Behn was born in Århus, Denmark, in 1972. He is a well-known author, but has also designed a clothing collection called Behn & Bulldog in collaboration with Baron von Bulldog. He was educated at the University in Oslo, where he studied the history of ideas (intermediate course) and religious studies. * Ari Behn has published articles in Aftenposten, Dagbladet and various magazines (1998-2001). * Ari Behn produced and directed two documentaries for TV (2000-2001). * Ari Behn organised the "Føling i Fjæra" festival together with Harald Zwart (2004-2005). * Ari Behn has written the following books: - Trist som faen (Sad as hell, 1999) - Bakgård (Backyard, 2003) - Entusiasme og raseri (Enthusiasm and fury, 2006) Ari Behn took his inspiration for the Peacock crystal and porcelain service from the rich spectrum of colour that is produced when the sun’s rays strike the peacock’s plumage. |
