Bergs Potter

Bergs Potter was founded in 1942 by Victor Berg, who then inherited a pottery shop in Nørrebro, Copenhagen. In addition to selling pots, he also started selling flowers there, which attracted more people to his shop. Victor's two children later started working in the company and business grew. They visited Tuscany in the late 1980s, where they found inspiration for both material, form and design. Today, Bergs Potter is sold in Scandinavia, Finland, Germany, France, the UK and the US and continues to live on for generations.

  • Bergs Potter – Timeless ceramics with roots in craftsmanship and history

Bergs Potter is a Danish brand with a rich history that dates back to 1942, when Victor Berg took over a small ceramics shop in Nørrebro, Copenhagen. With a passion for quality and beauty, he began selling not only pots but also flowers – a combination that quickly made the shop a popular fixture in the area. Since then, Bergs Potter has grown into an internationally acclaimed name in handmade ceramics and flower pots.

The business remained within the family, and Victor’s children soon took over and continued to develop the brand. In the 1980s, the family traveled to Tuscany, Italy – a trip that became crucial for the future of the brand. There, they found both inspiration and partners who still manufacture Bergs Potter’s pots according to traditional methods today. Each product is handmade in high-quality clay and fired at high temperatures, making them frost-resistant and durable both indoors and outdoors.

The design combines Scandinavian simplicity with classic Italian influences. The result is timeless pots, dishes and candle holders that are not only functional – they enhance any home, garden or windowsill with their unique charm and natural elegance.

Today, Bergs Potter is sold throughout Scandinavia, as well as in Finland, Germany, France, the UK and the USA. The company is still run by the Berg family and continues to grow – generation after generation – with the same passion for craftsmanship, quality and design.

Choose Bergs Potter if you are looking for handmade ceramics with soul, history and sustainable quality.
