The Bergdala Glasswork was founded in 1889. One of it's most famous products is without a doubt the "Blå Kant"/"Blue Line" series. No one can be quite sure as to how long it has been in production, but one thing is certain, it has become synonymous with Bergdala tradition and has probably been around as long as the glasswork itself. The symbolic blue edge is not only exquisite in colour, but actually has a practical aspect to it as it helps fend off flies from the bowls, plates and jugs.
