Meadow is a vase series from Kosta Boda that captures the feeling of the beauty of nature and the colorful splendor of flower meadows. Designed by Sara Persson, Meadow is a tribute to the changes of the seasons, where each vase reflects a special expression and mood. The series is both poetic and functional – created to highlight the beauty of flowers while standing strong as a decorative detail in its own right.
The large vase Spring, with a height of 30 cm, is specially designed to accommodate larger bouquets of tulips, ranunculus or sunflowers, for example. The vase is equally suitable for fresh cut flowers as for dried arrangements, and its tall shape creates balance and elegance in any room.
What makes each Meadow vase unique is the traditional glass crushing technique used in its manufacture. By using crushed colored glass in the production, each vase gets an irregular, vibrant pattern – just like nature itself. No two vases are identical, making each vase a unique work of art. The vases are carefully crafted in Småland and carry Kosta Boda's renowned craftsmanship.
