Planet Bordeaux from Kosta Boda is a limited edition art glass by Lena Bergström, where the glass's organic shape and deep burgundy color create an expression that changes depending on the light and viewing angle. The soft, undulating lines give the sculpture a sense of movement, while the solid glass catches and reflects the light in an effective way.

In the Planet series, Lena Bergström starts from the idea of human individuality – that we all have the same origin but develop into unique personalities. Each Planet therefore gets its own expression and becomes a symbol of the individual and personal.

As Lena Bergström herself describes it:

“I want each planet to be unique and beautiful, just like us humans. We all come from an egg with our own special content, and then we are shaped into different personalities. Each of us becomes a little planet.”

Planet Bordeaux is limited to only 20 pieces, which together with its sculptural shape makes it an exclusive collector's item and an expressive element of modern Scandinavian glass art.
